A brand-new Little Mermaid Musical is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Ariel fans won’t want to miss it!
A Bold New Undersea Experience
The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, a fully reimagined theatrical production inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic, premieres in fall 2024 at the Animation Courtyard theater at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios.
This bold new show brings Ariel’s dreams to life through vibrant visuals, dazzling set pieces, and imaginative stagecraft. The production captures her unique view of the human world. It also features iconic musical numbers like “Part of Your World,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and “Kiss the Girl.”
A Glimpse at the Magic
According to concept art, the Kiss the Girl scene includes Ariel and Prince Eric in a boat beneath a canopy of stars. They’re surrounded by Sebastian, Flounder, frogs, flamingoes, and sea creatures. These characters frame the proscenium in a whimsical underwater tableau.
