Summer House on the Lake Now Open at Disney Springs

Summer House on the Lake has officially opened at Disney Springs West Side at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. With coastal-chic vibes, a California-inspired menu, and the brand’s first-ever “Cookie Bar,” this new dining location brings the beauty of summer indoors year-round.

This is the fourth Summer House location, joining restaurants in Chicago, North Bethesda, Las Vegas, and select airports including Orlando. The menu focuses on simple, sustainable, and seasonal ingredients, crafted by Chef Ben Goodnick and his culinary team.

Seasonal California-Inspired Menu

Guests can indulge in standout dishes like Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with balsamic and Parmigiano Reggiano, Ahi Tuna Tostadas with Hass avocado and Thai chili, and the popular Herbed Chicken Breast Paillard. Handheld favorites include the Turkey Stack Sandwich and Crispy Baja Fish Tacos, while lighter options range from the Costa Mesa Salad to the Florida Corn Husk Salmon. Artisan pizzas such as Hobbs Pepperoni and Shaved Mushroom round out the menu.

Extensive Kids Menu & Gluten-Free Options

Families will love the extensive kids menu, which features grilled cheese, pasta with meatballs, and breakfast-for-dinner options. Many items can be made gluten-free upon request.

Signature Rosé Cart and Craft Beverages

The restaurant offers a Rosé Cart with Summer House’s signature rosé and a rotating selection of bottles. Guests can also enjoy draft and bottled beers, craft cocktails, and zero-proof beverages.

Debut of The Cookie Bar

A major highlight is the debut of The Cookie Bar. Featuring 15 varieties of oversized cookies and bars, options include Sea Salt Chocolate Chip, Birthday Cake, Oatmeal Scotchie, Vegan Snickerdoodle, and more. Seasonal pastry specials and drinks like cold brew, lattes, and Espresso Martinis are also available.

Inviting Atmosphere with Lake Views

Designed with Rockwell Group, the space blends indoor and outdoor dining with three bars and a skylit dining room centered around a leafy tree. A bright blue “YES” sign anchors the ambiance, while sweeping views of Lake Buena Vista complete the experience.
