The 2024 Disney Marathon ended with a thrilling finish as Brazilโs Vanilson Neves edged out training partner and 2023 winner Daniel dos Santos. Neves crossed the line at 2:26:51, just ahead of dos Santos at 2:27:25. This victory marked the 17th time in 19 years a Brazilian runner has taken the top spot.

First-Time Winner Shines in Womenโs Race
Stephanie Muscat of Grand Rapids, Michigan stunned the field in her marathon debut. The former collegiate swimmer, originally from England, clocked 2:48:08. She finished five minutes ahead of the next closest competitor and secured her first marathon win in impressive fashion.

Champions Return in Wheelchair Division
The wheelchair divisions saw familiar faces at the finish line. Brian Siemann of Savoy, Illinois claimed his eighth straight victory with a time of 1:58:18. Heather Sealover of Bossier City, Louisiana led the womenโs division at 2:04:38. Both delivered dominant performances.

Magical Scenes Through Disney Parks
Runners experienced the magic of all four Walt Disney World theme parks: EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. The marathon capped off a four-day celebration that included a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and a health and fitness expo.
Along the route, participants enjoyed character sightings, live entertainment, festive gear, and the uplifting spirit that makes every runDisney event special.
