Royal Banquet at Disneyland Hotel Paris Welcomes Guests to a Regal Dining Experience

As the Disneyland Hotel Paris reopens with royal fanfare, its Royal Banquet restaurant promises to become a destination in itself. Beginning January 25, guests will dine in a storybook setting filled with original artwork, character encounters, and globally inspired cuisine that celebrates Disney’s royal heritage.

Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris in collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios, the space honors beloved Disney monarchs, heroes, and even villains. Every element, from the murals to the menu, was crafted to immerse guests in a grand celebration of Disney royalty.

Step Into a Royal Prologue

The first dining area, named the Prologue, features portraits that showcase characters at the beginning of their journey. From Arthur pulling the sword from the stone to young Kida and her royal lineage in Atlantis, the stories here set the tone for an epic feast.

Merida’s family appears in an authentic woven tapestry created by Tissage des Flandres, a French textile workshop with more than 130 years of expertise. Their handcrafted approach brings this Pixar family portrait to life in striking detail.

A Banquet for Culinary Legends

The next dining space is all about flavor—and a touch of fun. As guests enjoy a plentiful buffet, they’ll be surrounded by portraits of Disney characters known for their kitchen adventures.

Watch Kronk proudly present his spinach puffs and Boun from Raya and the Last Dragon stirring up shrimp congee. Even Fauna, the fairy from Sleeping Beauty, joins the lineup with her famously lopsided birthday cake.

This celebration of cuisine reflects the restaurant’s own global inspiration, with dishes like Cajun-style shrimp nodding to Tiana’s Louisiana roots in The Princess and the Frog.

Villains Take Their Place at the Table

In the Antechamber, things take a more mischievous turn. This section celebrates some of Disney’s most notorious royal villains. Guests will encounter striking portraits of the Evil Queen from Snow White, King Candy from Wreck-It Ralph, and King Magnifico from Disney’s Wish.

These personalities bring a bold contrast to the banquet, reminding us that even villains have their moment in the spotlight.

The final room, named the Carousel, pays tribute to the loyal companions who carried Disney royals into adventure. Portraits of Maximus from Tangled, Khan from Mulan, Sven from Frozen, and even Abu transformed into an elephant, decorate the circular space.

Their unique poses reflect their personalities, adding whimsy and charm to the grand dining hall.

As part of this unique experience, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends will greet guests during both lunch and dinner. They’ll appear in exclusive royal outfits created just for Royal Banquet.

Whether it’s your first time or part of a family tradition, this character dining experience promises unforgettable memories.
