New Country Bear Musical Jamboree and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Updates

Disney Parks Blog just provided an update on the Country Bear Musical Jamboree and more coming to Walt Disney World’s Frontierland in 2024 and beyond. So saddle up and let’s get started!

Country Bear Musical Jamboree Returns with New Style

Beginning this summer, guests can enjoy a reimagined version of a Magic Kingdom classic. The Country Bear Musical Jamboree will pay tribute to Nashville’s legendary Opry-style performances, complete with fresh arrangements of Disney songs reinterpreted in country genres like bluegrass, Americana, pop-country, and rockabilly.

While the bears are getting new costumes and new tunes, fans can still expect plenty of nods to the original show. From hidden easter eggs to familiar melodies, this version is designed to honor the past while bringing something new to the stage.

To make room for this update, Country Bear Jamboree closed temporarily on January 27, 2024, and will reopen later this summer. When it returns, fans will see Country Bear new costumes, a revamped soundtrack, and a production full of frontier fun.

To prepare for the show, Country Bear Jamboree will close temporarily beginning Jan. 27 and will reopen later this summer.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Brings Mardi Gras Magic to Life

Just a short stroll from Grizzly Hall, another major reimagining is underway. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is preparing to take guests on a lively musical journey through the Louisiana bayou.

This new attraction continues the story of The Princess and the Frog, inviting guests to join Tiana, Louis the alligator, and other new characters as they prepare to host a celebration during Mardi Gras season. Disney Imagineers have crafted a world full of charming critters, lush environments, and catchy New Orleans-inspired music.

The recent installation of a weathervane marked another milestone in the construction process. With each detail, the attraction aims to immerse guests in the vibrant culture and scenery of Louisiana in a way only Disney can.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is expected to open later in 2024. Keep watching for more behind-the-scenes updates from Imagineering as the story—and the bayou—comes to life.
