Disney Branded Television has released the official trailer for Season 2 of Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, giving fans a fresh look at the continued adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her giant red T-Rex partner, Devil Dinosaur. The Emmy®-nominated animated series returns with a two-episode premiere on Friday, February 2, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel and Disney XD.
The action doesn’t stop there. Starting February 3, the first batch of new Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Season 2 episodes will also be available to stream on Disney+. If you haven’t caught up yet, Season 1 is currently streaming.
New Challenges for Lunella and Devil Dinosaur
This season, Moon Girl embraces her role as a neighborhood Super Hero. But as the stakes grow, so does the strain of keeping her identity secret. Lunella must navigate the balance between saving the day and protecting her personal life—especially when the pressure starts affecting her relationships with family and friends.
Star-Studded Voice Cast Returns
Diamond White reprises her role as Lunella, with Fred Tatasciore returning as the lovable Devil Dinosaur. Other returning voices include Libe Barer as Casey, Alfre Woodard as Mimi, Sasheer Zamata as Adria, Jermaine Fowler as James Jr., Gary Anthony Williams as Pops, and Laurence Fishburne as the cosmic Beyonder.
Produced by Disney Television Animation, the series is executive produced by Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland of Cinema Productions alongside Steve Loter. Rodney Clouden and Pilar Flynn serve as co-executive producers, with Kate Kondell as story editor. Halima Lucas and Ben Juwono also return in co-producing roles, with Rafael Chaidez joining as producer.
