Peter Banks and Jennifer Masamitsu crossed the finish line with big wins at the Disneyland Half Marathon 2024, the first runDisney race weekend at Disneyland Resort since 2017.
Banks, 38, from Henderson, Nevada, surged ahead of defending champion Brandon Wolfe of Pasadena, California, to win the menโs title in 1:15:02โjust four seconds faster than Wolfe. Peter Siess of Dover, New Hampshire, came in third at 1:15:54.
In the womenโs division, Jennifer Masamitsu of Denver, Colorado, returned to Disneyland seven years after winning the 2017 Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon. She claimed her second title with a time of 1:23:38, ahead of Jamie Weglarz of Fort Myers, Florida (1:24:57) and Brittney Kingsley of Fargo, North Dakota (1:29:19).

A Triumphant Return for runDisney at Disneyland
The 13.1-mile race took runners through Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure. And Cars Land, Pixar Pier, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and Star Wars: Galaxyโs Edgeโplus Anaheim city landmarks. The weekend included a health and fitness expo, yoga, a 5K, a 10K, and kids races, creating an atmosphere of fun and community for runners of all ages.
This long-awaited return of the Disneyland Half Marathon brought thousands of participants back to The Happiest Place on Earth, reenergizing the West Coast runDisney community.
