Percy Jackson and the Olympians Renewed for Season 2
Following a strong debut on Disney+, Percy Jackson and the Olympians has officially been renewed for a second season. The next chapter will follow The Sea of Monsters, the second book in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series.
Stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri will return for the new season. Ayo Davis, President of Disney Branded Television, praised the show’s magic and heart, while Riordan himself expressed excitement about setting sail once more with the beloved demigods.

Disney Teams Up With Epic Games for New Entertainment Universe
In a surprise reveal, Iger shared that Disney is partnering with Epic Games to create an expansive new games and entertainment universe that will be fully connected to Fortnite. Powered by Unreal Engine, this new project will allow fans to play, watch, shop, and interact with characters and stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar, and more.
Players will be able to create custom content, express fandom in new ways, and engage with immersive experiences unlike anything seen before. Iger called this “Disney’s biggest entry ever into the world of games,” setting high expectations for what’s to come.
