Space enthusiasts, get ready! National Geographic Documentary Films has announced an upcoming feature documentary on Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. This groundbreaking film will honor her remarkable legacy in science, exploration, and women’s empowerment.

Never-Before-Seen Archival Footage & Exclusive Interviews
The documentary will weave together never-before-seen archival footage, filmed both on Earth and in space, giving audiences a behind-the-scenes perspective on Ride’s historic space missions. The film will also explore her 27-year relationship with life partner Tam O’Shaughnessy, a love story that remained private until Ride’s passing.
Additionally, Sally will feature exclusive interviews with:
