Before stepping into his role at Disneyland Paris, Florent began his career as a barber on television sets in France. But Disney was always the dream. Fast forward, and he’s now celebrated two years as part of the Disney family—something young Florent never imagined possible.
“When I was little, I never thought I’d become the barber at Disney… but there’s no better place than Disneyland Paris!”

“Even though I’m not part of the Emporium directly, we’re connected,” says Florent. “It’s our little shared magic.”

Florent takes pride in using traditional barbering techniques, offering a turn-of-the-century experience that few modern barbers can replicate. He blends this timeless style with a touch of French savoir-faire, honoring the history of the shop and the art of barbering itself.
“It’s an honor to carry on this legacy with cast members across Disney Parks worldwide,” Florent says.

This year, Florent’s kindness and dedication were officially celebrated during the “Best Citations Ceremony,” part of Disney’s Global Recognition Week. Hosted by Disney Ambassadors and leadership, the event honored the most recognized cast members at Disneyland Paris—and Florent was rightfully among them.
“It’s touching to receive kind words from guests,” he says. “I’m proud to have made a difference in their day.”
