A Journey of Survival and Destiny
Mufasa’s story unfolds through Rafiki’s narration, as he recounts the king’s past to young Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala. As a cub, Mufasa was alone and vulnerable, yet fate led him to a deep friendship with Taka, later known as Scar. Sarabi – Strength and Leadership
Young Sarabi, voiced by Tiffany Boone, is a fierce and independent lioness who survives against incredible odds. Forced to find strength in solitude, she eventually becomes a wise and powerful leader, forming a deep connection with Mufasa. Her bold spirit and resilience make her a key part of the story.
Boone shares, “You see Sarabi as a mother and queen in the original, but here you get to see how she became that wise and graceful leader.”
Timon & Pumbaa – Adding Laughter to the Legend
Beloved duo Timon and Pumbaa, voiced by Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen, bring their signature humor. As Rafiki recounts Mufasa’s tale, these two interrupt with their comedic takes, providing levity to the emotional journey.
