As one of the first sights from the ship, the cabanas immediately immerse visitors in the colorful charm and architecture unique to the Bahamian islands.

2. True-True Too BBQ and Shell-Inspired Dining
Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the buildings at Disney Lookout Cay resemble oversized seashells scattered along the beach. True-True Too BBQ brings that design to life with a shell-shaped pavilion offering incredible ocean views and a delicious lunch menu.
The dining areas are adorned with artwork inspired by the islandโs natural beauty, including coral, shells, fish, and flowersโelements that reflect the artistic traditions of Eleutheraโs local creators.

3. Cultural Touches at the Tram Stop
Even the tram stops at Disney Lookout Cay are infused with local flair. Soon, theyโll showcase vivid colors and Bahamian energy through offerings like hair braiding, shopping, and festive interactions. The stop is more than just transportationโitโs a joyful first glimpse into island life.

4. Honoring Junior Junkanoo
Disney Lookout Cay celebrates Bahamian culture through its embrace of Junkanoo. This traditional Bahamian celebration of dance, music, and art. It is being preserved for future generations through Disneyโs support of Junior Junkanoo on Eleuthera. Disney has increased its investment in the program, amplifying its positive impact on local youth.
5. Mickey and Minnieโs Bahamian Looks
When guests visit this tropical paradise. They will be greeted by Mickey and Minnie Mouse dressed in custom designs by Bahamian fashion designer Theodore Elyett. The looks reflect the sunshine, spirit, and color of the islands, complete with natural raffia accessories and Junkanoo flair.
