Disneyland is about to get even more magical! In celebration of the upcoming opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, two brand-new themed shops are joining the story in Critter Country at Disneyland Park: Ray’s Berets and Louis’ Critter Club. These imaginative new retail experiences are inspired by Disney’s The Princess and the Frog and will immerse guests even deeper into Princess Tiana’s world.
Ray’s Berets: Light Up the Bayou
Currently home to The Briar Patch, the space will soon become Ray’s Berets, a cozy cabin filled with bayou charm. Firefly Raymond and his kin have lit up this quaint shop with fun and warmth. Here, guests can browse a magical assortment of headwear, apparel, accessories, and toys. From sparkling berets to themed souvenirs, Ray’s Berets will be a great first stop on your journey into Tiana’s world.
Louis’ Critter Club: Swamp Style with Heart
Just down the path, the left side of Pooh Corner will transform into Louis’ Critter Club. This fun-loving hotspot celebrates the jazz-loving gator and his critter crew. Inside, guests can find apparel, home decor, and accessories themed to Princess Tiana and her bayou friends. The shop radiates New Orleans spirit—musical, colorful, and full of Southern flair.
And don’t worry—Pooh fans are still covered! The right side of Pooh Corner will continue to offer classic treats from the Hundred Acre Wood, including the fan-favorite Tigger tails.
Critter Country Closure Begins May 1
To prepare for these exciting changes, Critter Country will temporarily close starting May 1, 2024. Disney Imagineers are updating pathways and enhancing the guest experience while putting the finishing touches on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and its surroundings.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: Opening Late 2024
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure takes place after the events of The Princess and the Frog. Princess Tiana and Louis are throwing a Mardi Gras celebration in the bayou, and you’re invited! The ride will feature original music, vibrant visuals, and beloved characters, bringing guests into a festive journey of friendship and magic.
This new attraction complements Tiana’s Palace restaurant and Eudora’s Chic Boutique in New Orleans Square. Making Princess Tiana’s world a fully immersive Disney destination.
