Set in the enchanting kingdom of Rosas, Wish tells the story of a sharp-witted idealist named Asha. When she makes a heartfelt wish, she brings Star to life—a cosmic force full of energy and joy. Together, they take on King Magnifico, the powerful ruler of Rosas, to protect their community and preserve hope.
The film features Academy Award®-winner Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as King Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Valentino, Asha’s lovable goat companion.
A Celebration of Disney Storytelling
Directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, Wish was produced by Peter Del Vecho and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones. Jennifer Lee and Allison Moore co-wrote the screenplay. The movie showcases original songs by Grammy-nominated Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice, paired with a heartfelt score.
