In Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, guests will join Tiana and Louis on a magical search for musical critters to complete her celebration. The journey through the bayou promises vibrant music, whimsical storytelling, and the debut of brand-new Disney characters created just for this ride.

A Musical Journey Begins
One of the first encounters features a critter band playing a lively rendition of “Gonna Take You There” from The Princess and the Frog. Their makeshift instruments—crafted from natural elements and found objects—bring charm and creativity to the scene. Dancing fireflies light your path as these critters fill the air with Zydeco rhythms and Louisiana flair.
Here’s a look at the new friends you’ll meet:
Byhalia the Beaver
Byhalia isn’t just building dams—she’s building instruments. As the band’s percussionist and natural designer, she keeps the beat and brings the bass to life using natural materials from the bayou.
Gritty the Rabbit
Energetic and a little anxious, Gritty plays a washboard made from an old license plate. Her overzealous nature makes her performances full of personality and charm.
Beau the Opossum
Beau brings beauty and bass to the band. She uses her tail to play a gourd upright bass and sees endless possibilities in the bayou’s music and magic.
Apollo the Raccoon
An artist of abandoned things, Apollo built his own squeezebox from found objects. His high energy and storytelling skills make him a dynamic part of the group—especially alongside his best friend, Rufus.
Rufus the Turtle
With a harmonica always close by, Rufus is ready for adventure. He’s the calm, collected type with a touch of sarcasm—and he’s always down to explore new rhythms with Apollo.
Timoléon the Otter
The band’s elder statesman, Timoléon plays the fiddle with wisdom and flair. His tales of bayou adventures and musical traditions make him the heart and soul of the group.
Bringing New Disney Characters to Life
These lovable critters are original Disney characters, created especially for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. That makes their debut all the more exciting—especially since Imagineers worked in collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios to bring them to life.
