Trailer and Poster Revealed for Four-Part LEGO Star Wars Special
In celebration of the continued collaboration between Lucasfilm and The LEGO Group, Disney+ has officially unveiled the teaser trailer and poster for the brand-new animated special, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. This exciting four-part adventure debuts exclusively on Disney+ on September 13, 2024.

“It’s hard to believe that it’s been twenty-five years since the ground-breaking collaboration between Lucasfilm and The LEGO Group began,” said executive producer James Waugh. “LEGO Star Wars has given our fans the unique power to unlock their imaginations and play with the galaxy’s elements in any way they can conceive… and build.”
The special leans into the spirit of playful storytelling and reimagines the Star Wars galaxy with surprising twists. With contributions from comedy writers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, viewers can expect creative mashups like Imperial X-fighters, Rebel TIE-wings, and even Darth Jar Jar.
What Is LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy About?
The animated series follows Sig Greebling (voiced by Gaten Matarazzo). An ordinary nerf-herder who unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple. The discovery throws him into a warped version of the galaxy, where heroes become villains and vice versa. Now, it’s up to Sig to piece the galaxy back together and become the unlikely hero of this mixed-up universe.
