Behind the Technology and Creativity

Executive Creative Director Tom Vazzana shared, “We put a lot of thought into making sure that no matter how old you are, or how much of a fan you are, you’re likely to see a character that you love.” Guests can expect to see fan favorites like Baymax and Dumbo come to life in the sky. MagicBand+ wearers will experience extra interactivity as their bands sync to the music and visuals with lights and vibrations.

The nighttime display lasts just under 10 minutes and brings a new layer of enchantment to Disney Springs’ vibrant atmosphere of shopping, dining, and entertainment. “This is an elaborate, one-of-a-kind show of scale and technology where guests will be wowed by the emotion of seeing these treasured stories appear in the sky,” said Vazzana.
