May 1, 2024: This Week at Walt Disney World
Celebrating Hollywood Studios and Springtime Magic
Happy 35th Birthday, Disney’s Hollywood Studios! On May 1, 1989, the third theme park at Walt Disney World officially opened its gates, and 35 years later, the celebration continues. From themed photo ops to nostalgic memories, Hollywood Studios marked the occasion with a subtle but meaningful anniversary “moment.”

Whimsical Additions at Magic Kingdom
Smellephants on Parade have officially arrived in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom. This whimsical, interactive experience invites younger guests to follow their noses and discover a cast of colorful, scent-themed pachyderms.

Speaking of magic in the air, Rapunzel is literally painting the walls of Fantasyland. The Tangled rest area now features new character artwork and themed updates that bring her artistic flair to life.
Fort Wilderness Cabins and Epcot Perks
Greg got a sneak peek at the all-new Fort Wilderness Cabins, coming later this year as a Disney Vacation Club offering. With cozy updates and themed details, they’re the perfect mix of rustic charm and Disney magic.
All that and more on this week’s show—catch Greg and Sam live from the parks as they take you through everything you need to know from Walt Disney World the week of May 1, 2024!
