To mark The Lion King 30th Anniversary, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is rolling out a feast of themed delights that capture the magic of the movie. From June 10 through September 9, 2024, guests can celebrate this beloved film’s legacy with snacks, sips, and sweets inspired by their favorite characters.
Discovery Island Delights
Start your culinary safari on Discovery Island. At Eight Spoon Café, try The Simba. This mango slushy comes with grenadine and gummy candies—perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth. At Isle of Java, enjoy Timon’s Luau, a layered dessert with vanilla chiffon, passion fruit curd, guava jam, and tropical decorations.
Tiffins Restaurant joins the celebration with Rafiki’s Squash Banana Shake. The drink blends squash bananas, baobab fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, and cardamom. Don’t miss the “Remember Who You Are” Dessert, a Kenyan coffee mousse with caramelized bananas, banana-caramel sauce, and a sugar sun.

African Adventures in Flavor
In Africa, Tamu Tamu Refreshments features the Zazu Ice Cream Sandwich. It includes vanilla ice cream between blue cake-coated sugar cookies with a chocolate medallion. At Harambe Market, try the You Follow Old Rafiki Cheesecake. It’s a tropical mix of passion fruit, mango, and coconut-lime crust topped with vanilla chantilly and a chocolate medallion.

DinoLand U.S.A. Roars to Life
At Restaurantosaurus, cool off with the Shenzi Strawberry Lemonade. This drink blends lemonade, strawberry smoothie, and blue curaçao, served with a glow cube. Fans of villains will enjoy The Rightful Ruler Cupcake, available here and at Pizzafari. It’s made with red velvet cake, cookies ‘n cream cheesecake filling, and chocolate decor.

Trilo-Bites offers the Zazu DOLE Whip Lime and Coconut Float. This refreshing treat mixes lime DOLE Whip with Sprite, coconut, and blue curaçao, then tops it with a white chocolate medallion.

Grab-and-Go Goodies
Look for outdoor carts across the park offering the Simba Paw Cookie. Shaped like the future king’s paw, this sugar cookie is adorable and perfect for photos.
