The Force was strong in London on May 28, 2024, as Lucasfilm hosted a star-studded UK screening for its upcoming Disney+ original series, Star Wars: The Acolyte. Held at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, the event marked the first time fans saw the initial two episodes ahead of the official premiere date.
The screening drew an impressive cast lineup. Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, and Rebecca Henderson all attended. They walked the carpet alongside Kelnacca the Wookiee, bringing a touch of galactic flair to the festivities. Showrunner Leslye Headland and producer Rayne Roberts were also on hand to celebrate the series launch.

Two-Episode Premiere Launches June 4
The Acolyte kicks off June 4 on Disney+ with a thrilling two-episode debut. Set in the final days of the High Republic era. The story follows a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) who investigates a chilling string of crimes. His search leads into the shadowy depths of the Force and reconnects him with a mysterious warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As secrets surface and alliances blur, nothing is what it seems.

A Cast That Shines Bright in the Galaxy
The cast also includes Jodie Turner-Smith, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss. With a diverse and dynamic ensemble, the series promises action, suspense, and a dive into the darker corners of the Star Wars galaxy.

Leslye Headland created the series based on George Lucasโ iconic saga. She serves as an executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef. Charmaine DeGratรฉ and Kor Adana are co-executive producers. Rayne Roberts, Damian Anderson, Eileen Shim, and Rob Bredow round out the production team.
