The fourth installment in the mega-hit Descendants franchise introduces Red (Kylie Cantrall), the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts (Rita Ora), and Chloe (Malia Baker), the perfectionist daughter of Cinderella (Brandy). When the Queen of Hearts stages a coup against Auradon, Red and Chloe must put their differences aside to stop her. Get to know all the new characters (below) before the movie premieres Friday, July 12, on Disney+, followed by an encore on Friday, August 9, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel.
Red (Kylie Cantrall)
As the only person who dares refuse the Queen of Hearts’ orders, Red wants to be in charge of her own life. Using a magical pocket watch, Red is able to travel back in time.
Chloe (Malia Baker)
As Cinderella’s daughter, Chloe has big slippers—er, shoes—to fill. A straight-A student, she’s also captain of the Swords and Shields fencing team and chair of the Dragon Appreciation Club. She lives a charmed life, but it may be time for her to break a few rules.
Uliana (Dara Reneé)
Ursula’s little sister is not only a sea witch—she’s Merlin Academy’s biggest bully. As the tentacled tyrant sings in “Life Is Sweeter”: “The scariest things are scared of me.”
Hook (Joshua Colley)
Captain of the Seas, Hook is literally Uliana’s righthand man. Hailing from the Isle of the Lost, Hook and the other Villain Kids (VKs) are keen to make mischief at Merlin Academy.
Ella (Morgan Dudley)
Though she is often treated like dirt by her Evil Stepmother (Julee Cerda), Ella remains courageous and kind. She also knows life isn’t fair, and she isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty.
Morgie (Peter Lindell)
Morgie can manipulate dark magic at will—just like his mother, the enchantress Morgana le Fay. Along with the other VKs, serpentine sorcerer Morgie is part of Uliana’s motley crew.
Bridget (Ruby Rose Turner)
Friendly and optimistic, Bridget knows you get more with sugar than salt. A skilled baker (feather flamingo cupcakes, anyone?), Bridget is proof that “life is sweeter when you are.”
Cinderella (Brandy)
Forever the belle of the ball, Cinderella is no longer in her own little corner—but she is still prone to sing “So This Is Love” with her husband, King Charming (Paolo Montalban).
Queen of Hearts (Rita Ora)
With a well-earned reputation for being downright ruthless (or else it’s “off with your head!”), the domineering ruler of Wonderland believe it’s “better to be feared than loved.”
