New Dining, Pools, and Gardens Await at Island Tower
Disney Vacation Club guests and Walt Disney World visitors can start planning for the December 17, 2024, debut of the all-new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. The expansion brings fresh dining options, themed recreation areas, and tranquil tropical gardens to the beloved resort.
Wailulu Bar & Grill Offers Flavors of Polynesia
Get ready to indulge in island-inspired cuisine at Wailulu Bar & Grill, the new casual dining experience at Island Tower. Named from Hawaiian words meaning “calm water,” Wailulu offers indoor and outdoor seating with stunning views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle.
This walk-up pool bar will serve breakfast pastries, all-day lunch and dinner, specialty coffees, and tropical drinks. Inside, you’ll find vibrant Polynesian artwork, recycled-material fish sculptures, and an abstract Polynesian Stick Chart centerpiece. A beautiful faux stained-glass reef anchors the space, and Moana herself will be featured in exclusive artwork.
Moana Splash Zone and Cove Pool
The new tower also introduces a Moana-themed splash area called Moana’s Voyage, featuring sculptures of Moana and her canoe. Adjacent is the Cove Pool, a zero-entry pool perfect for relaxing in the Florida sun.
Both the splash zone and pool will be available to guests staying at the Island Tower and at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Tranquil Tropical Terrace Gardens
Island Tower guests will have access to four exclusive tropical terrace gardens, each with unique seating, foliage, and colorful murals. These outdoor spaces offer quiet areas for families to unwind, play, and take in the surrounding beauty of the Polynesian resort area.

Disney Vacation Club Members can now book hotel reservations for Island Tower by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800. Points-based reservations will become available later. All guests may book online or by calling (407) 934-7639.
