A Magical Debut at the Macy’s Parade
The 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature a spectacular new Disney Cruise Macy’s Parade float called “Magic Meets the Seas.” Designed to celebrate Disney Cruise Line’s legacy and growth, the float will appear alongside a new performance starring Disney characters from across beloved franchises.
Celebrating the Expanding Disney Cruise Fleet
The float showcases all eight Disney Cruise Line ships, including the upcoming Disney Treasure at its center. It represents the rapid growth of the fleet, with Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure joining soon. Disney Cruise Line plans to reach 13 ships by 2031.
Disney Characters Sail into New York
Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse will lead the float. They’ll be joined by Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, Miguel from Coco, and Moana—each one representing the stories featured on board the Disney Treasure.
A Broadway-Style Disney Performance
In addition to the Disney Cruise Macy’s Parade float, viewers will enjoy a choreographed performance inspired by the theatrical shows featured on the ships. Characters will dance to a medley of songs from Disney films, ending with a confetti-filled finale set to the new Disney Treasure anthem, “Live the Adventure.”
