Santa Claus is bringing even more magic to Disney’s Animal Kingdom this holiday season. From November 12 through December 24, he’ll greet guests at the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party. This festive meet-and-greet happens on the patio of Restaurantosaurus in DinoLand U.S.A.
In past years, Santa waved from flotillas on the park’s waterways. Now, he’ll be the guest of honor in a prehistoric party hosted by the Dino Institute’s students and faculty. This new experience is ideal for families, especially those with children looking for a cheerful holiday photo.
Festive Fun Beyond Santa Claus Animal Kingdom
After your Santa visit, stop by Discovery Island for the return of the Merry Menagerie. These charming, life-sized animal puppets—featuring winter creatures like penguins, polar bears, and foxes—create magical moments through playful interactions.
Next, head to Adventurers Outpost where Mickey and Minnie appear in their festive holiday outfits. It’s another great photo opportunity filled with seasonal cheer.
Stay into the evening for Tree of Life Awakenings. After sunset, the park’s central icon comes alive with glowing projections and music, telling heartfelt wintertime stories.
More Holiday Entertainment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Over at Hollywood Studios, more festive excitement kicks off November 12. Three new performances will brighten the park:
- Juggling Elves: High-energy comedy and juggling fun
- Holiday Spirit Band: A jazzy brass ensemble spreading holiday cheer
- Seasons Jukebox: A bold, halftime-style band with horns, drums, and dancers
