The 2020 Disney Parks Christmas celebration, named the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration,” replaced the traditional parade format due to pandemic-related changes. Hosted by Tituss Burgess and Julianne Hough, the event was filled with musical performances and holiday cheer, don’t expect an actual Parade this year.

The lineup included Tituss Burgess and Julianne Hough performing “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” Becky G with “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Feliz Navidad,” and Jon Batiste with songs from Soul and holiday classics. Additional performers included the Florida A&M University Gospel Choir with “Joy to the World,” Tori Kelly, Maddie & Tae, Trevor Jackson, and Keedron Bryant. Keegan-Michael Key also brought humor to the celebration, and TikTok star Alex Ojeda shared social media moments from the parks.

In addition to music, the special offered sneak peeks at upcoming Disney attractions and projects like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT, WandaVision, and Pixar’s Soul

Comedian Kevin Nealon plays the role of KEVIN WINTERBEAN, also known as The Christmas Day Guy. His job is to answer any questions relating to Christmas Day. Throughout the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade, we will check in with the Christmas Day Guy.
