Disney recently unveiled The Last Verse, a heartfelt short film honoring the legendary Sherman Brothers and their iconic song, “It’s a Small World.” This moving tribute features a previously unheard verse penned by Richard M. Sherman before passing in May 2024. The verse shared with Disney CEO Bob Iger in 2023 serves as a final gift from the songwriter who, alongside his brother Robert, shaped the soundtrack of Disney history.+
