Disney Leadership Changes Signal Bold Plans for the Future

New Leadership Appointments
Ken Potrock has been named President, Major Events Integration, a newly created role that focuses on coordinating large-scale global events, such as the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics and the 250th U.S. Anniversary celebrations. Potrock, who led the successful reopening of Disneyland Resort and secured the approval of DisneylandForward, will bring his expertise to cross-company initiatives that drive Disney’s continued success.

Thomas Mazloum will now serve as President of Disneyland Resort, where he will oversee the operations of two theme parks, three hotels, and the Downtown Disney District. Mazloum’s leadership at Disney Signature Experiences has been instrumental in expanding Disney Cruise Line’s fleet and global offerings, making him the perfect fit to guide Disneyland’s next phase of growth.

Joe Schott, after years of leading Shanghai Disney Resort, takes on the role of President of Disney Signature Experiences. His experience in global markets and his success with projects like Shanghai Disney’s Zootopia land will help drive Disney Cruise Line’s expansion and other travel experiences, including Adventures by Disney and Aulani.

Andrew Bolstein has been promoted to President & General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort. Bolstein’s deep knowledge of Disney’s operations in Asia and his role in Shanghai Disney’s development make him well-positioned to lead the resort’s ongoing expansion.
