Disney continues to set the standard in entertainment, winning 25 awards at the 3rd Annual Children and Family Emmy Awards. The event, held on March 15, 2025, celebrated the best in children’s television, with Disney earning accolades across 20th Television, Disney Branded Television, Lucasfilm, National Geographic, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and streaming platforms Disney+ and Hulu.
Percy Jackson Leads Disney’s Emmy Wins
One of the night’s biggest winners was Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which took home eight awards, making it the most-awarded series of the event. The Disney+ series, based on Rick Riordan’s beloved books, won Outstanding Young Teen Series, Outstanding Writing for a Young Teen Series, and several technical categories, highlighting its stellar production quality.

Other Major Disney Emmy Winners
The celebration didn’t stop there. Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur won Outstanding Children’s or Young Teen Animated Series, while Once Upon a Studio, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ heartwarming short, secured the award for Outstanding Short Form Animated Program.
A Real Bug’s Life from National Geographic also made a splash, earning four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Cinematography and Sound Mixing.

The night was also special for Susette Hsiung, EVP of Studio Production and Network Programming Operations, and Steven Vincent, SVP of Music and Soundtracks, who were inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Silver Circle. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals with over 25 years of contributions to children’s entertainment.

Ayo Davis, President of Disney Branded Television, praised the wins, stating. “It is such a privilege to create stories that bring joy, magic, and wonder to kids and families. We couldn’t be prouder of our talented teams.”
