Disney Starlight Parade Adds New Wish Float Featuring Asha and Valentino (7 Floats Confirmed)

Magic Kingdom’s upcoming nighttime spectacular, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, just added a brand-new float inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Wish. Originally announced at the 2024 D23 Ultimate Disney Fan Event, The new parade is set to debut in “Summer 2025”.  The dazzling parade continues to build excitement with each new reveal.

A New Wish Come True

Announced via Disney’s official Instagram, the latest float addition brings Asha, Valentino the goat, and the Wishing Star into the lineup. Concept art shows Asha looking over the kingdom, while Valentino stands nearby with wide-eyed wonder. Hidden among glowing trees, the Wishing Star adds a twinkle of magic to the scene—capturing the heart and hope of Wish.

What’s Next for Starlight?

While Disney hasn’t revealed the full lineup, the official parade poster—soon to be displayed at the Main Street, U.S.A. train station—didn’t include the Wish float. Could more surprises be in store?

Although we have confirmed opening dates for The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After (both opening May 27, 2025), no exact date has been given for the Disney Starlight Parade. With “Summer 2025” still listed, speculation points to a potential July debut—possibly near the 4th of July.

Keep in mind, Disney has shifted timelines before. Originally, The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure was announced for “Fall 2024,” so anything is possible.
