Walt Disney World Summer just got an upgrade! For the first time since 2019, both Disney World water parks — Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach — will be open at the same time. That means from May 21 through September 7, 2025, guests can double the splash-tastic fun with six total parks to explore across Walt Disney World Resort.
In honor of Blizzard Beach’s 30th anniversary, the snowy slopes are reopening just in time for summer. After a short seasonal closure from May 1 to May 20 to melt away some winter wear, Blizzard Beach will once again join Typhoon Lagoon in welcoming guests to soak up the Florida sun.
Two Water Parks, One Splashy Summer
Until now, Disney rotated which water park was open seasonally, but 2025 brings back the full summer lineup. Whether you’re racing down Summit Plummet or floating along Castaway Creek, there’s a refreshing adventure waiting for every member of the family.
From wave pools to waterslides, lazy rivers to kid-friendly splash zones, Disney Water Parks offer a cool retreat from the summer heat. And now, there are double the options!
Resort Guests Make a Splash on Arrival Day
Here’s even more reason to book a summer getaway: starting in 2025, Disney Resort hotel guests enjoy free water park access on arrival day. That means your vacation starts with a splash at either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. Just one more perk of staying in the magic!
H2O Glow After Hours Returns
Night owls and party lovers, rejoice! H2O Glow After Hours is back at Typhoon Lagoon on select nights from May 23 through September 13. This after-dark event features a glowing dance party, shorter lines for your favorite slides, and complimentary snacks. Toy Story pals even stop by to join the fun!
New this year, kids tickets are just $42.50, half the price of adult admission. And Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can take advantage of special ticket savings, too.
Tickets for H2O Glow are on sale now for select Disney Resort guests and will be available to the general public starting April 4.
