Weโre keeping a close eye on the Disney Adventure, and the newest update brings some exciting news: the ship has officially floated out of the massive Meyer Werft hall in Wismar, Germany, marking another Disney Adventure Milestone!
Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse were there to celebrate the occasion, joined by spectators who watched as fireworks lit the sky. A tugboat carefully guided the shipโs bow out of the building and into the shipyard harbor, where it will stay for the next few months. While work continues behind the scenes, the Disney Adventure is already shaping up to be something truly special.
When finished, itโll become the largest ship in Disney Cruise Lineโs fleet!
Big Changes Ahead for Disney Adventure
The float-out was a major milestone, but thereโs still plenty happening. Up next: the installation of the Disney Cruise Lineโs iconic funnels. But this time, the Adventure isnโt stopping at two funnelsโitโs getting four!
Thereโs even more magic on the way. The ship will soon sport Disney Cruise Lineโs signature yellow lifeboats, and construction crews are getting ready to add some brand-new attractions. Among them: Marvel Landingโs Groot Galaxy Spin and Disney Cruise Lineโs very first roller coaster, the Ironcycle Test Run.
Sailing Toward Singapore another Disney Adventure Milestone
All this progress brings the Disney Adventure closer to its debut later this year in Singapore. Itโs an exciting chapter for Disney Cruise Line, and we canโt wait to see the finished ship take to the seas.
Weโll be following the journey as the Disney Adventure continues to come to lifeโso stay tuned right here at Samโs Disney Diary for all the update
