Disney Adventure World: A Major Transformation at Disneyland Paris
Big changes are underway at Disneyland Paris, and they’re coming into focus faster than ever. The resort’s second gate is being completely reimagined into Disney Adventure World, and this week brought several exciting updates on new attractions, themed lands, resort enhancements, and entertainment,
World Premiere Opens May 2025
The transformation begins with the debut of World Premiere, a new entrance and plaza area set to open on May 15, 2025. The space is themed to a glamorous Hollywood premiere, complete with updated Art Deco-inspired decor, murals, street furniture, and lush landscaping.
Guests will be welcomed with new amenities like The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, Searchlight Kiosk, and the must-see Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique. These enhancements set the stage for the immersive experiences that will follow.
New “UP”-Themed Attraction for 2026
A new family-friendly attraction coming to Adventure Way will be inspired by Pixar’s UP. This whimsical spinner-style ride will let guests enjoy a birds-eye view of beautifully themed gardens while paying tribute to the spirit of adventure from the beloved film.
Located across from the Raiponce Tangled Spin, the new attraction will begin construction later in 2025 and marks the first time UP has been the theme for a Disney park ride.
World of Frozen Takes Shape
The North Mountain is nearly complete as World of Frozen nears its debut. With hand-painted rockwork, state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics, and immersive landscaping, this land will bring Arendelle to life. The Frozen Ever After attraction will anchor the land, and expect lots of magic throughout the area.
The Lion King Area Begins Construction in 2025
Following announcements at D23, a brand-new immersive Lion King area is also on the horizon. Set to begin construction in fall 2025, this themed land will be the first of its kind based entirely on the animated film The Lion King.
Sequoia Lodge and Davy Crockett Ranch Updates
Disney Sequoia Lodge will begin a major transformation in 2026, with updates that preserve the resort’s rustic charm while introducing new nods to Disney characters from forest-themed stories. Meanwhile, new bungalows at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch will highlight classic characters like Donald and Daisy Duck as part of a multi-phase update rolling out by summer 2025.
Shopping and Dining Expansions at Disney Village
The reimagining of Disney Village continues, with recent openings like Disney Glamour, Disney Style, and a new LEGO store. Deco by Disney debuts April 19, focusing on collectible home décor. Coming soon are Petite Rosalie (an outdoor terrace), a renovated Sports Bar, and two new restaurants: Casa Giulia and a modern McDonald’s.
Seasonal Entertainment and Events
In the meantime, Disneyland Paris is celebrating 2024 with Disney Tales of Magic, an emotional nighttime show with fountains, fireworks, and storytelling. Beginning April 19, the Disney Music Festival will transform the park into a celebration of Disney tunes and characters across 12 interactive experiences.
