The Saga (and the Bricks) Continue
A galaxy built brick by brick just got a little bigger. At Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025, fans were treated to a surprise announcement during the Lucasfilm and LEGO panel. The creative duo behind LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, returned with exciting news for fans.

In a prerecorded message to the audience, the pair confirmed the return of beloved characters Yesi Scala, Jedi Bob, and yesโeven Darth Jar Jar. โWhatโs next for Yesi and Jedi Bob?โ they asked. โWill there be more Darth Jar Jar?โ The answer came in classic LEGO fashionโbuilt piece by piece.
As fans watched, the title reveal was constructed on screen. The final result? LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy โ Pieces of the Past.
Whatโs New in Pieces of the Past?
Set to debut on Disney+ on September 19, 2025, this all-new four-part sequel series picks up right where the original left off. Fans can expect more chaos, more creativity, and more mashups than ever before.

Returning voices include Ahmed Best as Darth Jar Jar, Ashley Eckstein as Brick Ahsoka, and new addition Ben Schwartz as Jaxxon, the Lepi smuggler from Star Wars Legends. Oh, and the trailer made one thing clear: the Darth Falcon is very real.
Bricks, Laughs, and Legacy
The creative team promises another installment packed with LEGO comedy, imaginative story twists, and deep Star Wars Easter eggs. โItโs a love letter to everything fans adore about Star Wars,โ said showrunner Benji Samit.
The trailer teases augmented battles, outlandish creatures, and a unique spin on the Forceโall through the clever, irreverent lens of LEGO. Whether youโre a die-hard Star Wars fan or just in it for the bricks, Pieces of the Past looks ready to deliver.
