Alaska Airlines just revealed Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer — the very first Alaska Airlines plane featuring a Disney Princess.
Inspired by Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, this enchanting Boeing 737-800 is officially ready to whisk guests off on their Disneyland Resort adventures.
A Big Reveal in Portland
The magic started with a festive gate ceremony in Portland, Oregon, where guests got their first look at the stunning new livery. After the celebration, passengers boarded the inaugural flight straight to Orange County, California, landing just steps from Disneyland itself.
You’ll want to keep an eye out, too — this colorful plane will be flying across Alaska Airlines’ network for the next few years!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Takes to the Skies
The plane’s design brings Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to life in a whole new way.
From Princess Tiana in her adventure outfit to Louis the alligator splashing in the bayou, the entire fuselage is alive with color and character. A sparkling trail of fireflies dances from nose to tail, while Mama Odie and Prince Naveen make appearances on the winglets.
Fun fact: it took more than 2,000 hours to hand-paint this masterpiece! Every detail honors the spirit of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the all-new water-based attraction coming to Disneyland Park.

A Taste of the Bayou, Even at 30,000 Feet
The fun doesn’t stop once you’re onboard. Starting this summer, kids can enjoy a special snack pack (while supplies last) themed to the new adventure.

A New Star Joins the Disney Fleet
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer joins a beloved lineup of Disneyland Resort-themed aircraft from Alaska Airlines, including past favorites like the “Spirit of Disneyland” and the “Adventure of Disneyland” planes.
And the timing couldn’t be better. This royal ride arrives just in time to help guests celebrate Disneyland Resort’s 70th Anniversary Celebration, kicking off May 16, 2025, and running through summer 2026. Seven decades of magic — and still soaring!
