Get ready for the ultimate summer celebration as Cool Kid Summer takes over Walt Disney World Resort from May 27 through September 1, 2025! Whether you’re traveling with kids or just a kid at heart, this season brings a high-energy lineup of DJ dance parties, surprise character appearances, hands-on activities, and new entertainment across all four theme parks. Here’s what you can expect:
EPCOT: GoofyCore Takes Over CommuniCore Hall
Starting May 27, CommuniCore Hall transforms into Goofy’s playground with GoofyCore, a zany, over-the-top immersive space that’s all about fun. Join Goofy for silly party games like Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks, and bust a move during DJ-led dance parties. Note: CommuniCore Hall will close temporarily beginning May 12 to prepare for Goofy’s arrival, but CommuniCore Plaza and Mickey & Friends stay open. And keep your eyes peeled—new snacks from Farmer’s Feast might pop up outside the hall as Flower & Garden Festival wraps up.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Pollinators, Badges, and Sing-Alongs
Adventure awaits at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, where kids can get crafty with pollinator-themed activities focused on butterflies and bees. Explorers can also earn a limited-time Wilderness Explorer badge, and while roaming the park, they should remember to look out for amazing animals like okapi and tigers.
Later, head to Discovery Island for a brand-new interactive sing-along, where Dino Institute Interns lead original songs celebrating the wildlife you’ve seen throughout the day.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: New Shows & DJ Fun
Animation Courtyard becomes a hub of creativity with crafts, games, and surprise character appearances. Catch magicians, jump rope performers, and more as you explore. Then, join a high-energy indoor DJ dance party with Mickey Mouse and Disney Junior friends.
Plus, two brand-new stage shows debut on May 27:
- Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After — A wickedly fun musical set in the realm of the Magic Mirror.
- The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure — A fresh retelling of Ariel’s story with stunning visuals and fan-favorite songs.
Magic Kingdom: Summer Fun Under the Big Top and Beyond
At Storybook Circus, join Pluto and a DJ ringmaster for the Big Top Bash, filled with juggling acts, stilt walkers, and nonstop silliness.
In Tomorrowland, dance with Stitch during the Galactic Blast party at the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage. Then craft a cosmic souvenir inside the Merchant of Venus inspired by Disney-Pixar’s upcoming film Elio.
