Iron Meets Magic in Marvel’s Ironheart
The wait is over, Marvel fans! The Ironheart teaser trailer has officially dropped, giving us our first look at the upcoming Disney+ series. The show stars Dominique Thorne as the brilliant young inventor Riri Williams and premieres June 24, 2025.
The story picks up after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and follows Riri’s journey as she finds her place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Set in Chicago, the series explores the tension between technology and mysticism. Riri’s innovation puts her in conflict with Parker Robbins, aka The Hood, played by Anthony Ramos. This new Marvel series blends cutting-edge tech with unpredictable magic.
A Powerful Cast and Creative Team
Joining Dominique Thorne are Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White. Head writer Chinaka Hodge, along with directors Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes, bring fresh voices to the screen.
Behind the scenes, the show features a stellar production team. Executive producers include Kevin Feige, Ryan Coogler, Chinaka Hodge, Brad Winderbaum, and others. Dara Taylor composes the score. Produced by Marvel Television and Proximity Media, Ironheart promises a unique blend of heart and innovation.
From MIT to the Marvel Universe
Fans met Riri Williams in Wakanda Forever, but this series gives her story center stage. In the comics, Riri was mentored by Tony Stark. Now, in Ironheart, she must find her own way, using her intellect to solve real-world problems in Chicago.
With the Ironheart teaser trailer now live and the release date confirmed, Marvel is setting up another major addition to its Disney+ lineup for 2025.
