This summer, ESPN is bringing sports news to every corner of the country. Starting Friday, June 27, the SportsCenter 50 States Tour kicks off a coast-to-coast journey to connect directly with fans.
SportsCenter 50 States Tour Celebrates Local Sports
For 50 consecutive days, ESPN will spotlight a different state through live SportsCenter broadcasts and storytelling segments. Each dayโs episode will feature local sports culture โ from major venues and iconic rivalries to backyard traditions and hometown legends.
This dynamic tour blends on-site coverage with unique features, capturing the full spectrum of what sports mean across America. Whether itโs a pro stadium or a small-town ballfield, the SportsCenter 50 States Tour is about celebrating all fans.
A Reimagined SportsCenter Road Trip
This marks the first time in 20 years that SportsCenter is hitting the road at this scale. ESPN last launched a โ50 States in 50 Daysโ tour in 2005. Now, the 2025 version builds on that legacy for a new generation of viewers and digital audiences.
โSportsCenter is woven into sports culture across the country,โ said ESPN Executive VP David Roberts. โWeโre thrilled to bring the show to our fansโ communities โ and backyards.โ
Tour Ties to ESPNโs Digital Future
The SportsCenter 50 States Tour also aligns with ESPNโs upcoming direct-to-consumer launch. Fans can follow the daily journey through multiple platforms, including SportsCenter on ESPN, the ESPN App, and social media.
More details about anchor assignments, stop locations, and fan events will be shared soon. As summer heats up, ESPNโs most iconic show is heading straight to the heart of the action.
