May 1, 2025 marks the exciting reopening of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, welcoming guests back with tidal waves of fun, tropical scenery, and cool summer thrills. Whether you’re craving high-speed slides, relaxing rivers, or glow-in-the-dark dance parties, Typhoon Lagoon is ready to soak up the summer spotlight.
Typhoon Lagoon Returns!
Guests can once again enjoy fan-favorite attractions like Crush ‘n’ Gusher, Miss Adventure Falls, Humunga Kowabunga, and the giant Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool. For a slower pace, float the day away on Castaway Creek, or take the little ones to Ketchakiddee Creek, complete with mini slides and shallow splash zones.
You’ll also find shady comfort in umbrella-covered seating or the cozy Beachcomber Shacks, offering chairs, coolers, and a private escape. Be on the lookout for Stitch, who’ll be popping up for meet-and-greets throughout the summer!

H2O Glow After Hours Lights Up the Night
Starting May 23 through September 13, H2O Glow After Hours returns to Typhoon Lagoon, transforming the park into a neon-lit, high-energy nighttime celebration. Families can enjoy DJ dance parties, Disney character appearances, and complimentary snacks under the stars.

Double the Water Park Fun: Blizzard Beach Reopens May 21
For the first time since 2019, both Disney water parks will be open at the same time. Blizzard Beach returns on May 21 after a short seasonal closure. With its snowy ski-resort theme, guests can race down Summit Plummet. Splash in Melt-Away Bay. Or explore Frozen-themed fun in Tike’s Peak.
This dual-park summer means more choices and double the splash-filled fun.
