Today, we’re heading into Frontierland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom for the all-new Country Bear Musical Jamboree—a fresh take on the classic attraction that’s been entertaining guests since 1971.

Grizzly Hall has reopened with a brand-new show that blends Nashville flair, updated Disney classics, and toe-tappin’ fun—all performed by the beloved bear band we’ve come to know and love. For a look back at the original version and its legacy, be sure to check out our full tribute to the original Country Bear Musical Jamboree right here on Sam’s Disney Diary.
A Nashville Revue in the Heart of Frontierland
The reimagined show keeps the core charm of the original but retools it into a musical revue—complete with bluegrass, folk, Americana, and country rock stylings.
Your host, Henry, returns to guide the performance, joined by returning stars like Big Al, Trixie, Wendell, and Teddi Barra. All 18 of the original audio-animatronic bears remain, though many have received updated looks—and in one case, even a name change.

Meet Romeo McGrowl
Formerly known as Liver Lips McGrowl, this fan-favorite now appears as Romeo McGrowl, sporting a fresh rockabilly style and even making meet-and-greet appearances outside the theater. The show also expands on the lore of Grizzly Hall, sharing how it was founded by Ursus H. Bear in 1898 and is now run by his grandson, Henry.
