There’s no better place to celebrate Independence Day than Walt Disney World. From jaw-dropping fireworks to patriotic snacks and family-friendly activities, the resort goes all out for the Fourth of July. Whether you love entertainment, history, or food, there’s something for everyone.
Fireworks Light Up the Sky
Magic Kingdom brings back the fan-favorite Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky on both July 3 and 4. This 360-degree fireworks show fills the sky above Cinderella Castle at 9:20 p.m. each night.
Before the fireworks, DJ dance parties will take over Frontierland, Tomorrowland, and the Castle Hub from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
At Epcot, Luminous: The Symphony of Us will close with Heartbeat of Freedom, a July 4-only grand finale that features dazzling fireworks and stirring tributes to American history.

Spaceship Earth also joins the celebration, glowing in red, white, and blue on the evening of July 4.
Patriotic Treats for Foodies
From June 29 to July 5, Walt Disney World rolls out festive treats across the parks and Disney Springs. Highlights include:
- NEW! Patriotic Cake Bar – Vanilla chiffon with passion fruit, orange, and guava at Amorette’s Patisserie.
- NEW! Caramel-Apple Pie Funnel Cake – Topped with apple pie, caramel, and vanilla soft-serve at Epic Eats.

- Red, White and Blue Slushy – Frozen Fanta with whipped cream and popping candy at Liberty Square Market.
Celebrate America’s Story
History fans can head to Epcot’s American Adventure, where the Voices of Liberty perform “Echoing the Sound of America” throughout the day. Inside the rotunda, guests can experience 35 Audio-Animatronic figures telling the story of the United States through key moments and speeches.
Also in the pavilion, the American Heritage Gallery features the exhibit Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art. Don’t miss the extended run of Portraits of Courage, featuring President George W. Bush’s paintings of post-9/11 veterans.

Over at Magic Kingdom, don’t miss the daily Flag Retreat ceremony. Set to “The Star-Spangled Banner,” this tradition honors veterans and the U.S. flag with a patriotic procession on Main Street, U.S.A.
Resort Activities and Extra Magic Fourth of July Disney World 2025
Resort hotel guests can enjoy surprise character visits, Movies Under the Stars, marshmallow roasts, and campfire sing-alongs. The fun continues all summer as part of Disney’s Cool Kids Summer celebration.

Guests staying around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake can cap off the evening with the Electrical Water Pageant. The nighttime show features glowing sea creatures and ends with a patriotic American flag finale.
From July 3–6, Disney PhotoPass will offer limited-time Magic Shots with Fourth of July themes at select locations across all four parks and Disney Springs.
