Hong Kong Disneyland has officially launched its 20th Anniversary celebration — and it’s truly the most magical party of all! The milestone event introduces new entertainment, dazzling visuals, original songs, and historic character debuts. It marks a vibrant new chapter for the park.
Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle!
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy take center stage alongside Duffy and Friends and several Disney Princesses. This energetic 15-minute castle show runs three to five times daily, delivering pop beats, eye-catching visuals, and nonstop fun.
The performance features three all-new songs: “The Most Magical Party of All,” “The Beauty of Friendship,” and “You Belong.” Backed by four live vocalists, the show includes LED screens, fog jets, cold pyro, and mobile satellite stages to immerse the audience fully.
Friendtastic! Parade — A 30-Minute Marvel
Happening twice a day, “Friendtastic!” is the largest parade in Hong Kong Disneyland history. It features 11 spectacular floats, over 100 performers, and more than 30 beloved characters. Among the parade highlights are debut floats for Encanto and Duffy and Friends, along with first appearances by Red Panda Mei, Isabela, Officer Clawhauser, and armored Hiro.
Each float offers unique visuals and music. The Zootopia float lights up with LED displays, while Inside Out’s float brings color and emotion to life. The Disney Princesses shine in a grand finale float. Look for local flair too — Mickey’s float features Hong Kong’s bauhinia blossoms.
Momentous: Party in the Night Sky
Every evening, the park ends on a high note with “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky.” This upgraded nighttime show includes 200 new scenes, dazzling projections, and new characters. Enhanced with drones, lasers, fountains, and pyrotechnics, it’s a full sensory experience.
The show opens with a magical prelude hosted by Mickey Mouse. Fairy Godmother, Genie, and Miguel help transform the night sky. Expect surprise character projections down Main Street, plus scenes inspired by Moana and Coco. The finale unveils a glowing 20th Anniversary logo above the Castle of Magical Dreams.
