Disney and Marvel Studios are gearing up for a groundbreaking new adventure with Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, the very first animated Iron Man series developed specifically for preschoolers. The new show debuts on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel on August 11, 2025, with 10 full episodes available the following day on Disney+ in the U.S. and select other markets.
Preschool Superheroes Take Flight
Designed to entertain and inspire young audiences, the series follows Tony Stark, Riri Williams, and Amadeus Cho—three best friends and brilliant young minds—as they team up to protect their city with the help of custom Iron Suits. Each suit gives them flight, super strength, and high-tech tools to save the day… or just enjoy a little heroic fun.
Joining the team in select episodes are a few familiar Marvel heroes: Sam Wilson’s Captain America, T’Challa’s Black Panther, and Aña Corazon’s Iron Spider—all ready to lend a helping hand when things get wild.
Music From a Pop-Punk Legend
Adding extra flair to the series is none other than Mark Hoppus, GRAMMY-nominated musician and bassist/vocalist of blink-182. Hoppus wrote and performed the show’s theme song, “Totally Awesome.” A preview dropped June 26, and Walt Disney Records will release the full digital single across streaming platforms on June 27.
Meet the Iron Friends
Before the series premiere, fans can enjoy a batch of shorts titled “Meet Iron Man and His Awesome Friends,” debuting on July 14 across Disney Jr., YouTube, and Marvel HQ. All 10 shorts will also be available on Disney+ starting July 15, offering a sneak peek at the team’s adventures and a perfect introduction to the characters.
The voice cast includes:
- Mason Blomberg as Tony Stark (Iron Man)
- Kapri Ladd as Riri Williams (Ironheart)
- Aidyn Ahn as Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk)
- Tony Hale as Ultron
- Vanessa Bayer as Swarm
- Talon Warburton as Absorbing Man
