This new recipe reimagines the iconic Disney Parks snack by combining a whole DOLE® Pineapple with the Ninja Swirlâ„¢ by CREAMi® to create a pineapple curd-filled dessert you can make at home. According to Melanie Marcus of Dole, the new filling “elevates the Whip taste experience” while paying tribute to the tropical flavors that launched this fan-favorite treat decades ago.
A Tribute to Adventureland Roots
Before the now-iconic Dole Whip arrived at Walt Disney World in 1984 and Disneyland in 1986, Adventureland guests waiting for Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room could enjoy only pineapple juice and fresh-cut spears. This new version nods to those early days with its use of fresh pineapple and creamy texture.
Dole’s relationship with Disney began back in 1976, with the company’s sponsorship of the Enchanted Tiki Room. Nearly 50 years later, that partnership continues—both in-park and now, in your kitchen.
