From August 22 through November 2, 2025, Plaza de la Familia returns to Disney California Adventure Park with a vibrant celebration of family, culture, and flavor. Inspired by Día de los Muertos and the beloved world of Pixar’s Coco, this seasonal event offers authentic tastes, immersive storytelling, and heartwarming tributes to Mexican traditions.
New Flavors at Paradise Garden Grill
This year’s menu at Paradise Garden Grill brings exciting new additions:
- Achiote Half Chicken: Roasted and marinated in achiote, served with Spanish rice, refried beans, and nopal salad.

- Loaded Chicken Quesadilla: Packed with roasted peppers and onions, and topped with chipotle crema, guacamole, and pico de gallo.

- Buñuelos Biónico: Fried cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips loaded with fresh fruit, toasted coconut, and banana milk.

- Pineapple Pomegranate Lemonade and Apple Cider Margarita are just a few of the refreshing drinks on the menu.
Fan favorites like Al Pastor Tacos, Carne Asada Wet Burrito (plant-based), and the colorful Vanilla Layer Cake also return.

Special Sippers: Coco and Dante
Two new collectible sippers will join the festivities:
- The Coco Sipper will be available at select locations in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure starting August 27.

- The Dante Sipper debuts September 10, also available at various locations across both parks and the Grand Californian Hotel.

Each sipper comes with a beverage and is limited to two per person per transaction, while supplies last.
Churro with a Twist
Over at Señor Buzz Churros and near Goofy’s Sky School, guests can try the Strawberry Horchata Churro – a cinnamon-sugar treat topped with horchata whipped topping, caramel, and fresh strawberries.
