FX has officially renewed The Bear for a fifth season. The news comes shortly after Season 4 premiered to record-breaking viewership. U.S. audiences can now stream all four seasons on Hulu or Hulu on Disney+. International viewers can watch on Disney+.

A Fan Favorite Returns
“The Bear continues to be a fan favorite worldwide,” said FX Chairman John Landgraf. “This season’s response has matched the success of every season before it.” He praised creator Chris Storer and the show’s talented cast and crew for delivering one of television’s most beloved shows.
Season 4 Raises the Heat
In Season 4, Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) push their limits to elevate The Bear. Challenges arise at every turn, but the team remains focused on excellence. For them, it’s no longer just about food — it’s about purpose, growth, and relationships.

The cast also features Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson. Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon return in recurring roles.
A Show-Stopping Award Winner
The Bear has earned major recognition. Its second season won 11 Emmy Awards — the most ever for a comedy in one year. The show has also received honors from the Golden Globes®, SAG Awards®, Peabody Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and more.
It was named an AFI Television Program of the Year for three straight seasons. That consistency shows how deeply the series connects with fans and critics.
Meet the Creative Team
Christopher Storer created The Bear and serves as executive producer. He works alongside Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson, Hiro Murai, and Rene Gube. Courtney Storer is the show’s Co-Executive Producer and Culinary Producer, helping ensure its kitchen scenes remain authentic. FX Productions produces the series.
