The next chapter of the wildly popular ZOMBIES franchise is here—and it’s more than just a sequel. Premiering Today, July 10, 2025, on Disney Channel and streaming Tomorrow on Disney+, ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires introduces two new leads, takes the music to the next level, and continues the powerful message that made the original film a hit with audiences of all ages.
A New Generation: Meet Victor and Nova
As the original stars prepare to pass the torch, fans are introduced to Victor (Malachi Barton) and Nova (Freya Skye), a vampire and a daywalker from opposite worlds—Shadyside and Sunnyside. Just like Zed and Addison before them, this new duo finds connection amid chaos, offering a modern echo of the franchise’s core theme: unity through diversity.
Victor, a wind-wielding vampire, and Nova, who draws power from the sun, are drawn together despite their rival factions. Their relationship echoes the star-crossed storyline of Zed and Addison, serving as both a nod to longtime fans and a fresh hook for a new generation.
“It’s like we’re passing the torch,” said Meg Donnelly, who returns as Addison and now serves as an executive producer. Milo Manheim, who also returns as Zed, added, “It just makes people feel good… That created this huge, ZOMBIES universe.”
Music with Meaning
The heart of every ZOMBIES movie is its music, and Dawn of the Vampires delivers a full new soundtrack from Walt Disney Records. Songs like “Don’t Mess with Us,” “The Place to Be,” and the show-stopping closer “Show the World” carry the franchise’s signature energy—and message.
Fan favorites “Someday” and “Ain’t No Doubt About It” return with new reprises, including a powerful scene filmed in New Zealand that Manheim calls his favorite moment of the entire franchise.
“There’s a really strong message of acceptance, especially in ZOMBIES 4,” Donnelly explained. “It applies to kids and adults. ZOMBIES does a great job of explaining it with fun, positive vibes.”
Legacy and a Live Experience
With this fourth installment, Disney continues building on the ZOMBIES legacy, now including two animated spin-offs and a chart-topping musical identity. Up next? A live concert experience featuring the cast of Descendants: The Rise of Red—a sign that Disney’s musical multiverse is only growing.
Whether you’ve been a fan since Seabrook’s first monster mix or you’re just meeting Victor and Nova, ZOMBIES 4 is a celebration of friendship, inclusivity, and music that unites.
Catch ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires on Disney Channel July 10 and on Disney+ starting July 11.
