During Disney’s Q3 2025 earnings call, the company celebrated a major milestone: Disney Jr. streaming success now includes the top three preschool streaming shows — Bluey, Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
That momentum carried into this weekend’s Disney Jr. Let’s Play! event at Disney California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney District in Anaheim, where Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, unveiled a slate of new series, specials, casting news, and premiere dates for preschool favorites.
According to Davis, “Disney Jr. is where preschool magic begins — and no one does it bigger or better.” The announcements build on Disney Junior preschool shows leadership, expanding beloved worlds while introducing fresh characters and adventures.
New Series and Specials on the Horizon
- Cars: Lightning Racers (2027) – Lightning McQueen and Mater return, voiced by Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy, joined by new friends Pipes and Miles.
- Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends (2027) – First-ever preschool Avengers series with kid versions of classic Marvel heroes.
- Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team Up! – Two specials beginning Oct. 16, 2025, teaming Spidey with Iron Man and the Avengers.
- Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Songs – Stop-motion sing-along shorts for Halloween (Sept. 29, 2025) and Christmas (Dec. 2025).
Returning Favorites with New Seasons
- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ – Seasons 2 (2027) and 3 (2028) following the record-breaking debut of Season 1.
- SuperKitties – Season 3 launches Sept. 22, 2025, with the “Su-Purr Wild” jungle adventures.
- Sofia the First: Royal Magic (2026) – Ariel Winter returns as Sofia with original cast members.
- Hey A.J.! (2026) – Based on Martellus Bennett’s children’s books, starring Amari McCoy with voices by Jhené Aiko and Meghan Trainor.
