As summer winds down and a new school year begins, Disneyland Resort has turned its 70th anniversary celebrations into a heartfelt tribute. This time, the focus is not just on guests, but on the educators who inspire the next generation.
A Magical Supply Drive
This year, Disneyland Resort cast members joined forces for the annual Back-to-School Supply Drive. They collected and donated over 68,000 school supplies for Anaheim elementary schools. The items included crayons, colored pencils, spiral notebooks, and pencil boxes. These tools will help classrooms start the year ready for learning. The 2025 drive was the largest donation ever made to Orange Grove Elementary School.
A Surprise to Remember
The magic didn’t stop there. During a staff meeting, Disneyland Ambassador Raul Aquino Rojas and Mickey Mouse made a surprise appearance. They thanked more than 100 teachers and faculty members for their dedication. Then, they invited them to enjoy the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration with complimentary tickets for themselves and a guest.

Nearly Two Decades of Support
Disneyland Resort has proudly partnered with Orange Grove Elementary for nearly 20 years. In addition to the annual supply drive, the resort supports the school with programs such as the HOLA Readers—a 12-week storytime initiative featuring Disney VoluntEARS—alongside Disney Career Days and festive Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
Spreading Happiness Across Anaheim
To share the joy of the 70th Anniversary with the entire community, Disneyland Resort is offering Anaheim residents a special 1-day, 1-park ticket for as little as $70 for a limited time. Park reservations are required and subject to availability.
As Disneyland celebrates 70 years of magic, its commitment to supporting local educators and students remains stronger than ever—proving that the happiest place on Earth is also one of the most generous.
