A New Music-Driven Series Hits Disney+
Disney+ is turning up the volume this fall with Electric Bloom. The series will stream its first 13 episodes starting September 17, 2025, followed by the rest on October 15. The trailer and poster, revealed by Disney Branded Television, give fans their first look at the story of three best friends turned global pop stars.
Star Power On and Off Screen
Electric Bloom follows three high school friends who form a band that rises to worldwide fame. The cast includes Lumi Pollack as Posey, Carmen Sanchez as Jade, Ruby Marino as Tulip, and Nathaniel Buescher as Lucas. Guest stars include Dara Reneé from Descendants: The Rise of Red and Maia Kealoha from Lilo & Stitch. Behind the scenes, Danielle Fishel (Boy Meets World) and Phill Lewis (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody) serve as guest directors.
The Music Behind the Magic
Legendary songwriter Diane Warren, also an executive producer, wrote the pilot’s music and the theme song. The soundtrack blends pop and heart, setting the tone for the series. Fans can already enjoy the four‑track Electric Bloom EP on major platforms, with the full album set to release September 12 through Walt Disney Records.
Creative Team and Guest Roles
Eric Friedman, Alex Fox, and Rachel Lewis created the series. Jody Margolin Hahn directed and executive-produced the pilot. Guest roles include J’Adore Elizabeth, Trisha Macaden, Luke Busey, Van Brunelle, Audrey Grace Marshall, Leah Mei Gold, DaJuan Johnson, Clayton Thomas, Santina Muha, Irene White, and Lennon Parham.
From Disney Channel to Disney+
Electric Bloom first aired on Disney Channel on July 10, 2025, with two episodes after ZOMBIES 4. While TV fans got an early start, Disney+ subscribers had to wait. Disney used this staggered release to build buzz on television before offering binge‑ready episodes online. This strategy, previously used with other Disney musicals, provided both weekly viewers and streamers with a tailored experience.
A Must-Watch for Disney Music Fans
With heartfelt storytelling, a star cast, and original music, Electric Bloom is set to capture the same excitement that made past Disney Channel musicals iconic. The series offers nostalgia for long‑time fans and fresh energy for new viewers.
