A New Band Hits the Disney+ Stage
Disney Branded Television is turning up the volume with Electric Bloom, a comedy about music, friendship, and chasing dreams. The series follows three high school friends who form a pop band and discover how their connection shapes both their sound and their lives.
After its summer premiere on Disney Channel, Electric Bloom makes its Disney+ debut on Wednesday, September 17. The first 13 episodes are released all at once, with the remaining episodes of the season streaming in October.
Meet the Band
Posey (Lumi Pollack)
Posey is the group’s polished perfectionist and guitarist. Always organized and determined, she balances her buttoned-up personality with surprising guitar skills. Pollack describes her as the “rock” that keeps the band on track.
Jade (Carmen Sanchez)
Jade is the songwriter and pianist of Electric Bloom. Confident and passionate, she writes lyrics straight from her life. While she has a tough exterior, Jade is loyal and believes everything happens for a reason. The series’ songs come from legendary songwriter Diane Warren, including the theme.
Tulip (Ruby Marino)
Tulip is quirky, optimistic, and a little awkward as a newly homeschooled teen entering high school. She mixes sound on a MIDI setup and books the band’s gigs. Through music and friendship, Tulip begins to find her place.
Lucas (Nathaniel Buescher)
Lucas may not play an instrument, but he is the group’s number one fan. Creative, supportive, and sometimes hilariously overconfident, Lucas pushes the band to be themselves. His role as a dreamer and encourager rounds out the dynamic.
